Who prevails?

Will it be the Mighty Elephants again? Being the defending champions this time round, having won a previous 12 out of the 16 High ridge school sports day bonanza so far, is number 13 lucky for the Elephants, this pauses to be the lingering question in the minds of the many sports enthuthiasts at Highridge school and the community at Large. Sir Eric Bayo aka Mzee Jomo is charged with the task of maintaining this almost perfect feat so far..


Rhino House is yet to win this tournament, as it has always placed fourth but this time round its a force to be reckoned, Its Patron Sir Gerald Gunza, has transformed this house with his meticulous attention to detail and strong will,  boasting a second place position for the third year running, Sir Gerald aka Faru John seems to be on the verge doing the unthinkable, as was seen on the rehearsals today, are they fourth time lucky? 


Lion House, representing the king of the Jungle, twice coronated on this tournament, are they ready to claim the throne from the mighty elephant? Are they also third time lucky? Three is a perfect number but we are yet to prove this tommorow as its all down to their young Patron Sir Vincent, who is always tinkering at the touchline.


Leopard House, just like the animal they are representing, has always been promising and full of potential but, the potential is yet to be seen. They have also won the tournament twice before, but as the leopard hides in trees, leopard is also yet to fulfil the hearts with the joy of winning a tournament that they have managed to set a record at second place, none other has ever come close to the record 10 out of 16 tournaments. Will the leopards also be third time lucky?? Sir Paul Tarimo aka Kitimbwis is expected by the Leopard community to deliver this time round, as the squad is young and hungry for the title.


To all the fans out there, choose wisely as elephant is green, Rhino is blue, Lion is Red and the Leopards will be wearing the bright and shiny yellow colours.

Highridge FC waangukia pua. Wakubali kichapo cha 3-2 toka kwa Quarters FC Katika mechi iliyopigwa jioni ya leo kwenye uwanja wa General Tire jijini Arusha, HFC wamekula kipigo kitakatifu toka kwa mahasimu wao na majirani zao Quarters FC. Walikuwa ni HFC walioanza kuliona lango la wapinzani wao baada ya kuonana vizuri huku wakicheza kandanda nzuri mithili ya EPL, alikuwa ni Ackrim akicheza wing ya kushoto aliyeonekana kuwapa shida kubwa mabeki wa QFC kwa mbio na mchezo wake mzuri akiwazidi akili na maarifa basi aliachia cross ndogo iliyomkuta Abel RKay aka #TheFlash akiwa takribani mita 25 ama 26 mpaka 27 akamchungulia kipa amekaaje na kuachia shuti la juu lililomshinda kipa na mpira kutinga nyavuni. Dakika chache baadae, HFC wakapata kona na Abel RKay akaichonga kona fupi na kumpasia Muksini aliyeachia shuti kali na kumbabatiza beki wa QFC na mpira kutinga nyavuni. Mpira uliendelea kuchezwa huku QFC wakilizakama lango la HFC kwa vipindi na hatimaye wakafanikiwa kupata goli la kwanz...
